Exactly one month from today I am due with Mary Kathryn. I cannot believe we are a month away or less from meeting our baby girl. It is such a surreal feeling. I am so excited and anxious for her to get here. I have been blessed with such a wonderful pregnancy and I will be sad for it to end, but also glad. I have dreamed about this my whole life and I know it will be here so soon. I think we pretty much have everything we need and feel as prepared as I can be. I still have to get a few last minute things but otherwise we are ready. I am trying to soak up every minute of this pregnancy and getting in all the sleep I can. It has become pretty uncomfortable sleeping at night and I pretty much toss and turn all night, not to mention the number of times I have to get up to go to the bathroom. I think Mary Kathryn is ready to be here too because she is running out of room. She loves to have a little dance party in my belly every morning and night when I am trying to go to sleep. I know I will miss feeling her move, it is so amazing to watch my belly. I can’t believe in a few short weeks we will be holding our precious baby girl. My how our life will change but only for the better!!! I go to the doctor on Tuesday so we will see what he has to say. I am hoping I can continue to work for at least 2 more weeks or so, but we will see.
Here is my 35 week picture. (My face is definitely getting puffier)
and just for fun here is a 10 week picture. My oh my what a difference. :)
Last weekend I headed home for my last weekend before MK’s arrival. I enjoyed being at home and getting to see several of my friends. It is weird to think the next time I go home I will have Mary Kathryn with me. I was able to attend my best friends baby shower. She got so many cute things and I can’t wait for our baby girls to be here and to meet. It has been so fun sharing this experience with her.

I am trying to hang in there these last few weeks and stay cool. It is so hot outside, I can barely stand it. I am still feeling great overall. Any tips or advice for this soon to be mama would be greatly appreciated. Also I haven’t packed any bags for the hospital yet. I feel a little clueless. What did you bring with you? What did you pack in your bag? and your baby’s bag? We only live 10 minutes away from where I am delivering so if I forget anything somebody can always run to my house. I have already purchased 2 nursing gowns and a robe and I know to pack some flip flops as well to walk around in. If you have any other suggestions or advice please send it my way. :)
